Where the Water Begins
High above Lech, water gathers around Formarinsee, Spullersee and Zürsersee. It rests between rock and open sky. Then it finds the valley.
There is no need to call this a source. It is enough to watch the high landscape become water.

The Lechbach winds down through Zug. Around 17 kilometres of high alpine stream are accessible for fly fishing. A moving line between stone and bank.

With Permission and Respect
No fishing licence or exam is required for the Arlberg waters. Appropriate conduct remains the prerequisite for a day ticket. Tickets come through Hejfish or Lech Zürs Tourismus.
Fish only in marked sections. Fly rods and artificial flies only, with barbless hooks. A maximum of three fish may be landed per day. Log every catch, and carry the permit and a pen.

A Morning That Stays
The house can arrange a guided morning. Before the first noise, the path leads to the water. The river sets the pace.
Later, the walk returns to BALMA in Zug. Luxury is not a result. It is undivided time.
